Activity 1 - Predict Read the title of the article and then predict what the article is about. Activity  2. Read the text with your group and identify the key ideas in the text to help you clarify your predictions.	Key Ideas: There are over 240 Weeds in New Zealand that threatens our Native Plants. Between 1996 and 1997, 5200 beetles were released at 18 sites in and around the Tongariro National Park Areas. The Gorse of New Zealand's Worst Weed in the united kingdom famers have used it for hundreds of years. Herbicides are also used to kill weed.The More weed they spread the More effective they’ll Be !

The word meaning for Established is something that is existence for a very long time and therefore recognized and generally accepted. The word meaning for Fertiliser is something that chemical or natural substance added to soil or land to increase its fertility. The word meaning for Estimated is something that is roughly calculate or judge the value, number, quantity or extent.

How do we know there were 240 weeds around New Zealand? Why do we have heather Beetles? Can this type of bio agents affect other? Where did this type of agents come from?
